PLANNING AND its ASPECTS

Planning could be for a city or a group of cities in any shape and size either the population of a city , a a metropolitan city or a simple municipal city. All the planning works for physical, social, cultural, economical, environmental, ecological and all other interrelated disciplines tewuired for normal operation and functioning of an urban place are categorized under urban planning.
Ity could be done in many ways and through many facets of endeavors and different planning approaches.
The physical infrastructures and amenities such as the roads, public transport systems such as the railroads etc should be planned for a smooth functioning of any successful city. Te road alignments, alignments of buildings, series should be conceived and planned in such a manner that theory are targeted to achieve and optimum and desirable level of comfort in these aspects of a city living.
The society, how it is formed, what demographical pattern it manifests, and various the demographic and statistical settings are also well studied for redevelopment or an entirely new planning work of an urban address. Things like zoning, the bye laws, architectural and other ordinances and policing and maintaining works are also well taken care of for the betterment of an entire city.
The historical background of the place where a city is situated , the in and out migration trends and other processes like the tripling down effect, the market scenario and various developments like the river of the sea fronts developments are also conceived as per the international norms for comfort , sustainability and durability of any city.
The environmental and ecological aspects of a city and places close to the city are also planned and taken care of accordingly. The synchronous nature between the planning approaches and the desires environment to be achieved are carefully balanced and studied to keep up with the study for the possible trend to be followed in these areas.
Likewise , monetary and financial as well as the economical trends of the past, the in and outflow of the goods and services in the city , the management of the banking and housing needs of the city are also taken well care of for effective success of a city from these fronts.
The housing and apartments in the city should be well planned in a balanced manner. The individual houses as in case of Nepal should be constructed with proper alignment leaving all the necessary setbacks all following all other norms and ordinances of planning like the zoning and other related things. The planning in the city should be done such that there are necessary and sufficient breathing spaces such as the the open spaces, parks and courtyards within huge individual buildings for light and ventilation.
Since the large number of vehicular traffic in a large building creates lots of collective noises. sufficicients buffer spaces and sound absorbers such as trees should be there.In zoning aspects related zones can be put near but non related should be kept afar.
