A Quality Resume Example

A quality resume is your first step to persuade the employer to hire you. It is not just a paper that outlines your educational background and skills, but plays a much vital role. Put yourself in the shoes of the employer and think. If you are having hundreds of applications for a single position, what will you do to narrow down your efforts? For a quality resume it is necessary that it should cover up all the necessary information in a precise and readable manner. Following is a resume example stating a commonly used resume format.

Full Name and Contact Information: There is a misconception that the title “Resume” is required at the top of the page. However, according to the latest trend it is just a waste of space. Instead you can utilize that space for highlighting your name and contact information.

Objective Statement: This section is destined for the purpose of carrying a short description about you and what you intend to do at the job. Highlight your quality and skills here that makes you a perfect candidate for this job.

Qualification: It is needless to say anything about this field. It is simply your till now qualification details.

Employment details: Begin with mentioning your recent job.Include the timespan of the work with your designation and name of the company. In addition to that, give a brief description about your responsibilities there. Sometimes due to space constraint, you will not be able to mention every detail. In such a case, just stick to the information that is relevant to the current position you are applying for. You can even skip some unrelated odd jobs that you were pursuing in the past. 

Special Skills: This section might help you well in case you are a fresher. List your past accomplishments and talents that are related to the job in this section.

Finally, end your resume with the “References available upon request” and the declaration statement.

Last but not the least, follow the proper formatting rule of the resume and keep it under two pages.
