Easy Chocolate Frosting

6 tablespoons of softened butter

½ cup of coco powder

1 cup of caster sugar

½ cup of fresh milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Mix the butter and caster sugar together until it forms a creamy mixture and then add the coco powder. Mix all the ingredients together and slowly add the milk until you obtain the right consistency. Once your cake has cooled down you first spread a layer of frosting on the one half of the cake as well as some apricot or strawberry jam and then put the other half on top. You can now begin to frost the cake on top and around the sides. Once you have finished frosting decorate the cake with cherries and angelica.

When making frosting never make too much try and make the required amount as frosting tends to become hard and stale. This recipe is simple and easy to make and one can also add cream instead of milk which will obviously make the frosting a lot richer as well as a lot tastier.
