As everyone knows, Tron:Legacy is coming out on DVD April 5th, and I am so excited to get it. Ontop of that, Disney made an animated series! Tron: Uprising is an animated science fiction TV series, set to air in the summer of 2012 on Disney XD. It is a 10 part animated series that takes place between the events of Tron and Tron: Legacy. You can watch a preview of Tron Uprising on the DVD. Also you can check out the amazing soundtrack from Daft Punk on the DVD.
The main focus of the show would be a character named Beck who leads an uprising inside the Grid. The series would be a great place to expand on many of the loose ends in the movie that they did not have time for in the movie which I think is a great idea!
