J.K. Rowling was named the most influential female in Britain.

According to the reports of AFP, recently 11 renowed British magazine editors voted J.K. Rowling who was the author of Harry Potter as the Britain's most influential female. And her influence was considered even beyond Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain .

The poll was conducted by the British National Magazine Company which has published 20 magazines in the UK. At this time, among the British top 100 most influential female voted, J.K. Rowling ranked the first, followed by David Beckham's wife, Victoria who is now active in the fashion design industry and Queen of Great Britain was the third. The current Prime Minister Cameron's wife Samantha placed sixth. As well as in the top ten was Vivienne Westwood, the fashion designer of the vanguard in Britain.

Rowling obtained this honor because of her superb writing skills, the quality of resilience and charitable spirit. The list was to commemorate the 100th anniversary of British National Magazine Company. The company's publications includes the famous Good Housekeeping, Rural Life, Bazaar and so on.
